Ralph Marion, 86, passed away peacefully at Centre Hospitalier de Rouyn-Noranda, the morning of July 18th, 2010 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 26th, 1923 in Mattawa, Ontario. His parents, Alphonse and Adèle (Dobratz) Marion travelled up the Kenojevis and brought Ralph to Rouyn-Noranda when he was 2 years old. He worked for Noranda Mines for 45 years. Ralph was predeceased by his oldest son Bill, August 13, 2001.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Helen Marion (Mucha), his children, Linda, Bob (Kim), David (Lori), and Dennis (Elaine), his grandchildren, Kathryn, Stefanie, Matthew, Ashley, Sasha, Justin, Joshua and Kyanna , his sole remaining sister, Noleen Nickmann (Helmut), his sister-in-law Rose Rocha, his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
