Canada Post: Pay my bill, exchange or return my equipment during the strike and until delivery times return to normal.
Pay my bill during a Canada Post work stoppage
Due to the Canada Post work stoppage, mail to and from Cablevision may not be delivered or or delivered late.
Please remember that you will continue to be responsible for paying your Cablevision bill on time during a postal disruption. To keep track of your bills and avoid late fees, we encourage you to register your account on My Bill.
To sign up, please visit My Bill and follow the simple steps to access your account online, switch to paperless billing, and set up payments by bank account or credit card.
You can also make payments through online banking, ATM or in person at your financial institution.
Here are some questions and answers to help you if there is a Canada Post work stoppage.
I receive my bill in the mail. How can I check my account balance?
We recommend switching to paperless billing on My Bill to stay up to date on your account activity, payment amounts and due dates.
You can also check your account balance by calling 1 800 567-6353.
What are my payment options during a postal disruption?
- Online: Visit My Bill and sign up for pre-authorized payments by bank account or credit card. You can also make a one-time payment by credit card.
- In person: You can also print your paperless bill and pay in person at your bank or at an ATM. Please contact your financial institution for instructions and details.
Will late payment charges apply if I don’t get my bill or can’t send a cheque?
Yes. To avoid late fees, please register for e-bill to stay updated on your account and pay your bill using any of the options outlined above.
Equipment Exchange
The equipment exchange process remains the same. You can exchange your equipment in-store, but don't forget to call Customer Service first so that an order can be placed with the service point of your choice.
Equipment Return
Please ship your equipment to us according to the instructions in the return package we sent you. It is possible that the large volume of packages may cause delays for our couriers. If you are in this situation and are unable to meet the regular 10-day return period, this delay will be taken into consideration before you are charged for unreturned equipment.
Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d’Or
If you live in the Rouyn-Noranda or Val-d'Or MRCs, you can also return your equipment to the store when you cancel a service. However, it is important that you follow these steps:
- Call Cablevision Customer Service at 1 800 567-6353 to unsubscribe from your service.
- Tell the agent that you would like to return your equipment to the store. He or she will confirm which store to return it to and send an order form to that store.
- Return your equipment only to the store designated by the agent and to which the order form was sent.
